About sheepish creatures
This bunny is one of the original Sheepish Creatures. When my four children were small, I still managed to knit quite a bit, but only for small increments of time. At the same time, everyone around us was having babies. Over the course of five years I made almost 70 of these bunnies, which are an evolution of an old Debbie Bliss pattern (Toy Knits: St. Martin's Griffin 1995). They were adorned in dresses and pants which used up stash yarn, and often had a cable or fair isle pattern so I could try new things. On itty bitty overalls and petite jumpers, I taught myself everything from buttonholes (for tails) to intarsia motifs. They were never perfect, but they brought lots of happiness to me and to the families who received them. They represent to me the best parts of knitting: the simple joy of creating something and sharing that joy with people around you. Everything I do here will help you do that too.
Knit on! Try new things and have some fun!
